The most valuable lesson I have learned about being a writer is also the simplest one ... a writer writes.  

And writing is the thing I love to do.

I have created galaxies, small towns, a couple of circuses and written about the expansive beauty of Alaska and the laid back lifestyle of the Caribbean.. I've cobbled spaceships and monsters from pieces of my imagination, and written about the glory of God from a deep place reserved just for Him.

I've written radio commercials, study guides, plays, a coffee table book, contributed to many anthologies, and written some really bad poetry.
And I'll do it all again.
